How to Access the Platform
Engage with your peers and dive into an environment built specifically for shared experiences and mutual support from other Californians who have disabilities and are a part of the California Connect Program. Follow these steps to join and start taking advantage of this no-cost space:
Step 1: Sign Up
Visit community.caconnect.org to create an account. On the upper right hand corner, select “Sign Up”.
Input your preferred email address and click “Next”. A code will be sent to your email to confirm your email address. Go to your inbox, input the code sent by no-reply@caconnect.org, and select “Next”.

Step 2: Create an Account
Fill out the form with your profile information including password, name, disability, phone, etc.
Step 3: Explore and Connect
Explore the community platform. The platform features:
- blogs that highlight program updates and insights into the accessibility landscape,
- forums where members can engage in conversations and share tips,
- a recommendation page where users can share devices, apps, or services that would make California Connect more useful for Californians with disabilities,
- and a knowledge base that offers courses and trainings on California Connect devices.
